My favourite holiday tradition!

What began as a fun last minute idea to spend time with my nieces back in 2015 has transformed into something magical.

Every year, I gather up a handful of friend/model/clients and we dress up for an afternoon of witchy fun and frivolity and photos at A’Daylia Gardens. Why not? It is the absolute best way to enjoy spooky season, in my humble opinion.

This year will be my TENTH witch shoot. Can’t wait! Here’s a random roundup of moments from the past decade or so of witch pictures. Enjoy, and Happy Halloween!

Kitchener photographer Emily Beatty Imagery's annual witchy fall photo shoot on the grounds of A'Daylia Gardens outside of Kitchener-Waterloo, Conestogo, Elmira, Guelph and Cambridge.

A new gathering will take place soon! Saturday October 24th 2026 from 3-6pm. We have room for a few more in our coven if you want to join…

For me, the holidays begin in November with my sister’s birthday and my annual holiday mini event.

Here’s a roundup of some, but certainly not all holiday portrait setups from roughly 2015-2025. Shout out to C. and D. and their mom, who attended TEN years of mini sessions in a row. You’re the best at holiday-ing. I love it.

What will our 2026 theme be? I couldn’t choose, so we have two! Winter Luxe with evergreens and soft boho vibes is coming to the home studio Saturday November 14th. Deck The Halls minis with a deep green wall, a Christmas tree with loads of ornaments, and colourful nostalgic paper decorations are going to be available Sunday November 15th. Here’s a booking link with all the latest info on 2026 minis.
